Today, I’m mixing it up with a list of my favorite Holland, Michigan wedding venues! I’ve been photographing weddings in the Holland area for about 8 years now, so I’ve seen a lot of wonderful venues. I’m here to share some of my favorites with you today!
The Felt Estate The Felt Estate has so many options for your big day! They have several ceremony locations on site, including an adorable little white chapel and a stunning water garden. The best part is that your ceremony and venue locations are only steps away from one another! Enjoy dinner and dancing upstairs in the Mansion’s ballroom, or outside in a beautiful white tent. And from a photography standpoint, you can’t beat the surrounding woods and fields for portraits. The Felt Estate truly has everything you’ll need, making it my number one choice for the best Wedding Venue in Holland Michigan.
Windmill Island Gardens If you’re looking for an outdoor ceremony with a tented reception, the Windmill Island Gardens are for you! Reserve Windmill Island all to yourself for your stunning reception. Just make sure to leave plenty of time for pictures because this venue is full gardens, adorable little dutch buildings, and a bridge. And your guests will love strolling around the island during cocktail hour.
Baker Lofts Baker Lofts is definitely one of the most popular Holland Michigan wedding venues. In fact, it’s so popular, they opened an additional venue space upstairs! So now you can choose between the warehouse and the loft to host your reception! Or, you could get married in one space and host your reception in the other! Baker Lofts is the perfect venue for brides who love exposed brick and an urban feel. It’s classy, the staff is wonderful, and the food is always delicious.
The Midtown Center The Midtown Center is a classy wedding venue right downtown Holland. The staff at the Midtown Center are all incredibly helpful and kind. They’re always my favorite to work with. Their reception space is a large room with a whole wall of gigantic windows. They also have a large stage off to the side of the room that is perfect for hosting a ceremony, or for showcasing your dance moves at the end of the night. Either way, you simply can’t go wrong with having your wedding at the Midtown Center.
Camp Geneva Although Camp Geneva is especially meaningful to couples who worked or met at the camp, it’s a beautiful location for any wedding. The adorable chapel sits just feet from the beach and boasts stunning views. And if you’re going for a more relaxed vibe, you can’t beat that camp feel! 🙂
Boatwerks Boatwerks is a fantastic venue option for anyone who loves the water. Located right on Lake Macatawa, this Holland Michigan wedding venue delivers with a beautiful indoor banquet area complete with an entire wall of windows looking right out over the lake. Cocktail hour or dancing can be hosted right outside on the patio, only feet from the water. The stunning sunsets and twinkle lights really make the whole evening magical. Definitely a venue to consider!
CityVu Events CityVu is the ideal venue for the modern bride. This venue sits on the top floor of the CityFlats Hotel right downtown Holland. For anyone looking for a colorful, centrally located venue in the Holland area… this is it! And as a bonus, not only can out of town guests stay right on site… you can get ready in your own hotel room as well! It’s a very convenient venue. I definitely recommend checking it out.
District 5 Schoolhouse The District 5 Schoolhouse is adorable. They have an outdoor ceremony space and plenty of room inside for dining and dancing. Although the venue is technically just out of town, I thought it was close enough to mention. If you do book your wedding with them, be sure to ask to go up to the bell tower!
Macatawa Golf Club If you’re looking for a golf course wedding, then Macatawa Golf Club is for you! This stunning clubhouse in Holland has an outdoor ceremony area and a huge indoor banquet room for all of your guests. And across the hall is a separate room for dancing and hitting up the bar! And if you’re really into golfing, you can even wake up early and hit the green before your big day!
205 CoffeeBar And this last venue is perfect for intimate wedding parties. If you’re super into coffee and only want to celebrate with your closest friends and family, then check out the 205 Coffeebar! 205 is an adorable little coffee shop right downtown Holland and they host small events! So get your friends together, sip some coffee, and celebrate your love in a cozy spot together!
