I’ve never been a huge fan of The Notebook. I’ve always thought it was completely unrealistic. But then this photo shoot happened. And it felt like it came straight out of The Notebook. We started at the fair. And even though Tyler didn’t hang from the ferris wheel, the smitten way he looked at Becky gave me the same feeling as if I had been watching the film. Then we went to the lake. And even though Becky didn’t scream, “If you’re a bird, I’m a bird” at the top of her lungs, the way she laughed and smiled as Tyler picked her up and spun her in the water was more adorable than when Rachel McAdams did it. It certainly wasn’t Becky and Tyler’s intention to re-enact scenes from that movie, but in a way, their session reminded me that maybe love isn’t such a far-fetched idea.
