When I got the text message from Emily and Mario, saying they wanted to book me, I jumped up and down in my parents’ living room. I knew this day was going to be something very special. And it was. Their invitation had the words “abundant joy” on it, and I think that really sums it up.
Each of Em’s friends took a turn sitting in this chair as she was getting her make-up done. <3
This necklace belonged to Emily’s grandmother! So special.
Tears upon seeing Emily in her Spring Sweet dress!
One of my faves!
In the middle of shooting this wedding, I wished I could also shoot all of their friends’ weddings! Seriously the coolest group.
These guys were hilarious.
As they walked back down the aisle, a mariachi band was waiting for them!
Johnny, you led an incredible ceremony. Congratulations to you and your wife on your new baby!
Sara, you know how I want to caption this! But I will spare you! <3
Do you recognize these two babes from their wedding last week?!? So cool that they were back and able to party with their dear friends!
In the words of their best man/ maid of honor… Mario and Emily are lights in this world. These are people who love fiercely. They filled an actual barn with people who love them right back. Mario and Emily have amazing testimonies and hearts full of faith. It was an absolute honor to be there with them as they celebrated their new marriage, and I know everyone in that barn felt the same way. I’ve never heard more guests rave over the food at a wedding. Mario’s family catered the event and poured their hearts into delicious food. And Old Stonegate Farms provided the perfect backdrop for everything. What an amazing venue. What an amazing couple. I think I’ll go jump around in my own living room now. <3
